there was a man named “Tamada”, Tamada Sensei, and he was a master of classics. So my father went to study with him ‘cause my father played a lot of lighter, Miyagi music. And although he didn’t have training in the classics, you know, heavy classics, there was such a repertoire, and he wanted to study further, so he did. And so, it was very nice.
