It’s interesting, before the war, we had two department stores that featured both western clothes and Japanese kimonos, and materials, too. And they were large, considerably large places. And that’s where we went to order our kimonos or had them made, you know, from material we selected. And then, there were drug stores, a number of them. I think there were three in total. And there were book stores, a number of book stores because Japanese were always asking for books. And, well, along with the book stores were the stationery stores. They thrived, too. And there were restaurants, a number of restaurants and bars. And there was a gambling hall nobody knew about downstairs, Tokyo Club.
