And, but after the war, gradually, the Japanese from Japan, who also needed a place to land because they were unsuccessful in Japan, started to come in, too. And those that had made money through black market, I understand, bought certain areas of J-town, and they converted into night clubs, and they were catering to all the vets from Japan as well as, you know, those who had been overseas. They wanted Japanese food or Japanese drinks. And entertainment, as well, because I met a number of women when I was working for the (Fox) studios, who needed parts, and I’d sometimes he’d ask if, you know, people that can dance. And I would make an inquiry, and these ladies were from Japan dancing at the bars. But they could dance, so we’d get a little scenery that they needed for dancers, and they did. And I’d say, if you come to, up to this certain point, I said, I’ll drive you because it’s at the Fox Studios. And so I would drive them, and gradually get to know their background and how tough life had been for them, too. So, you know, it was interesting to balance my life bridging theirs.
