And Yuize was basically a western trained musician. He was a harpist, concert harpist whose parents were traditional teachers, and so he went into koto. That was very easy for him. But he loved it. And he played shamisen, loved that, too! So he writes for both instruments, but it’s interesting, he’d be writing in western notation. And then they’ll say, “But we need it in Japanese!” And he’d go this way (mimicking writing from top to bottom). He’s actually quite a genius. But he’s written works for Tamasaburo, the Kabuki star, he’s written works for him to perform with the Kabuki Theater. And when they were in China, they did Chinese Opera that he wrote. They premiered it in China. So he’s been very busy, when he’s been writing music for films. But he’s done a lot of marvelous, interesting works.
